![]() Over 600,000 flights included by default – the flight database is created from recent commercially sourced flight data and processed using custom tools specifically written for Traffic Global. Hundreds of combinations of airlines and aircraft provided - Traffic Global comes with 65 aircraft types over 860 liveries covering most of the world’s airlines. Seven new controllable external views allow you to follow individual AI aircraft and three new control windows are also included: a radar display centred on your aircraft, a flight board which is switchable between all nearby airports and a flight plan display showing nearby airports, taxiways and flying aircraft. The AI aircraft respond to the movements of your aircraft as you move around an airport and the software is compatible with all third-party airports. Even with hundreds of AI aircraft on screen and more being simulated nearby, simulator performance is barely affected. Traffic Global loads everything in the background and is usually ready to go as soon as your flight starts. New or altered aircraft liveries can be easily added and do not require any additional configuration. Over 600,000 flights are included by default and these cover more than 3,000 global airports with complex, multi-point, multi-day flight schedules. Traffic Global comes with 65 aircraft types and over 860 liveries covering most of the world’s airlines. ![]() Installation is simple and the software is ready to run 'out the box'. There are a lot of community produced configurations that have been created for it.Traffic Global for X-Plane 11 (Windows) provides high quality animated AI aircraft models in authentic airline liveries and with full 3D sound and lighting and effects. You can define what types of aircraft should populate a particular airport and routes that they fly. The payware World Traffic will give you more control. They won't land on you if you are following ATC instructions or if they see you soon enough, they will always go around. It will probably improve when the developers decide that it is a high enough priority. I fly the 737 so I only land at airports and the behaviour of the AIs is generally quite logical. If you are landing at dirt strips then don't choose the 747 as one of your selected AIs. When I've tried it they just basically follow you around and just take off and land at the same airports (leading to some pretty insane situations like a 747 trying to land on top of you on a tiny dirt track on the Shetland Islands)It means you get aircraft taxiing and taking off and landing whenever you are at an airport and you see them occasionally while flying. There is also a payware package called World Traffic that allows you to build custom traffic and routes. I run about six AI without too much of a hit on framerate. They have the external appearance but do not contain cockpits and detailed internals that have to be generated. AI aircraft can take processing away from the main sim so it's best to use the special AI aircraft that have been created by XPFW for this purpose. ![]() These aircraft will be generated at airports and in flight and follow real routes. Each time you choose one the menu gives you the option to pick which aircraft and livery it should be. You can set the number of aircraft to as many as you like. Go to the menu Aircraft/aircraft and situations/ and click the tab "other aircraft". ThanksAI aircraft are built in on x-plane, you just need to turn them on. I am just wondering if there is any ai traffic programs specifically for x-plane? More specifically, is there a program that is like world of ai for FSX or a program that can convert world of ai files for x-plane? I like the simplicity of quickly installing worldwide airlines into FSX from world of ai but I was hoping there was something like that for x-plane. I am new to X-plane and I enjoy the much more detailed scenery in x-plane compared to FSX.
